Last night’s 11th Annual Mini-Mega Meeting was a tremendous success, bringing together 115 registered supply chain professionals, students, and industry leaders from across the Delaware Valley for an unforgettable evening.

The event was made possible through the collaboration of six regional professional organizations:

A sincere thank‑you to Dominic O'Brien, Senior Marketing Manager at PhilaPort (The Port of Philadelphia). Dominic delivered an excellent overview of how PhilaPort continues to strengthen its position as a major gateway for international commerce, highlighting several standout advantages:
- Ranked the #1 most productive container port in North America
- Proximity to 1,400+ distribution centers within a two‑hour radius
- Direct access to key highways, including I‑95 and I‑76
- Rail service supported by three Class I railroads
- Ability to reach over half of the U.S. & Canadian population within a 48‑hr drive
- Record cargo volumes, with more than 889,000 TEUs handled in 2025

These strengths continue to position the Port of Philadelphia as a critical driver of regional economic growth and global supply chain connectivity.

One of the most encouraging highlights of the evening was the strong participation from students and young professionals who showed up with enthusiasm, representing approximately 20% of the attendees.
